The guest speaker, Admiral James "Sandy" A. Winnefeld Jr., served as the ninth Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the nation's second highest military post. Admiral Winnefeld had a distinguished naval career, serving as the Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), as well as in many other leadership roles.
